Jay Z new song "Glory" is a song dedicated to him and Beyonce new baby daughter "Blue Ivy Carter". Jay Z released the song on his website welcoming his bay girl to the world (born on Saturday, Jan. 7). Hov samples the cries of Blue at the end of the track. The lyrics are sweet and straightforward and Jay sounds mostly in awe at the whole thing: "Most amazing feeling I feel, words can't describe the feeling for real./ Baby I paint the sky blue, my greatest creation was you, you. Glory." Produced by Pharrell, it's not a grand, bombastic club-banger, but rather a snippet of introspection from the new dad. Listen to it below and comment.
